Box-Office Collection Day 3: Vidya Balan Starrer Tumhari Sulu Is Going SUPER-STRONG, Earns Rs 5.39 Crore

The opening figures for Vidya Balan starrer Tumhari Sulu were were a bit low.

However, the film registered a superb growth on the Day 2 by making Rs 4.61 crore

And their joy ride continues. Tumhari Sulu on Day 3 remained SUPER-STRONG, it collected Rs 5.39 crore.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to announce the figures. He tweeted, “#TumhariSulu had a SUPER-STRONG weekend... Showed SUPER trending... Fri 2.87 cr, Sat 4.61 cr, Sun 5.39 cr. Total: ₹ 12.87 cr. India biz (sic).”

Author and SpotboyE.com film critic, Khalid Mohamed rated the film 3 stars and appreciated the performances by Vidya Balan, Neha Dhupia and Manav Kaul. He labelled the film feel-goody good entertainer. While reviewing the film, he wrote, “Of the ensemble cast, Manav Kaul is excellently nuanced throughout. Neha Dhupia is terrific, too, never striking a false note. Without a doubt, Vidya Balan is outstanding. Using her voice as a lethal weapon, flicking her tongue to go “oops” and employing those whirpool eyes to dart a thousand words in a single look, here’s one of the year’s most endearing performances worth a big warm bear hug. And dare I say, award trophies? Way to rock, Ms Balan.”

Tumhari Sulu has Vidya essay the role of an RJ for the second time after Lage Raho Munna Bhai (2006) and is produced by T-Series and Ellipsis Entertainment.
